 Shooting in United Arab Emirates is one of the fastest
growing recreational sports in the country since every Emirate has
shooting clubs and shooting ranges for the enthusiasts of this sport.
In this case, shooting refers to the sport of target
shooting that usually includes a variety of guns used for target shooting, sporting
clays or projectile weapons such as bows or crossbows.
In United Arab Emirates, there are several places to
go if you want to try and experience shooting at its best. Usually the shooting
facilities in the country are complete with equipment for recreation,
competitions, training or practical shooting. These various forms of shooting can be fascinating and rewarding activities
for people of appropriate ages.
The utmost consideration, and one which
takes precedence over everything else, is safety. Like many activities
such as mountain climbing, skiing, or sky-diving, there is an element of danger
involved. And especially here, this danger demands a sober understanding and
respect for firearms and the specific rules for the safe handling of them.
Last year, Caracal Company announced their new
initiative to launch The Caracal Shooting Club in Abu Dhabi late this year.
This will be another addition to the existing shooting clubs in the country.
The existing shooting clubs and facilities are Jebel Ali Shooting Club, Hatta
Fort Hotel shooting range, Ra’s al-Khaimah Shooting Club, and Umm Al Qaiwain
Shooting Club. You can also join the Dubai Shooting Club if you are a shooting
enthusiast.
