Annual combined guaranteed sum of Euro 7,000,000.00. Diving Diving in the UAE offers great variation as we have both the Arabian Gulf and the Indian Ocean to dive in. Through our three dive centres across the UAE & Oman, Al Boom Diving offers daily dive trips on both coasts, as well as trips to the Musandam peninsula. We also offer transfers from Dubai to the East Coast/Musandam for those staying in Dubai, but wishing to explore the other coast. Musandam Peninsula (Dibba) Musandam is very isolated and sparsely populated and the diving here is brilliant. Diving in Musandam used to be associated with a lot of hassle; all equipment had to be brought up from Dubai, permits had to be obtained etc. Now, through our new dive centre in Dibba (located just 1 ½ hour’s drive from Dubai), diving the Musandam has become very easy. All you have to do is turn up and dive. Musandam has sites suitable for all levels and an abundant marine life. Dolphins, Sharks, large Rays, colourful corals, large lobsters – even whale sharks have been spotted here. There is also a nice cavern dive and a few sites with nice wall dives (+ of course numerous yet undiscovered sites). Snorkelers and guests “coming along to enjoy the scenery” are most welcome. Musandam trips run daily. Weekends will mainly be for divers – snorkelers and boat trippers may join subject to space. A daily bus transfer from Dubai to the port in Dibba is in operation. Please contact us for further information. Arabian Sea, UAE East Coast (Fujairah/Khor Fakkan/Dibba) The Arabian Sea is part of the Indian Ocean, and this is where you find the colourful coral reefs teeming with marine life. If lucky, you may come across blacktips, moray eels, turtles, lionfish, rays, cuttlefish, barracuda etc – you name it, we got it (well, almost). The diving here is suitable for all levels of divers and there are also sites suitable for snorkelling. Our dive centre on the East Coast offers daily trips to the sites off the East Coast. A bus transfer service from Dubai to the East Coast is in operation, leaving our dive centre in Dubai at 06.45 am and returning around 17.30 hrs. Please contact us for further information. Arabian Gulf, UAE West Coast (Dubai).Diving off Dubai is all wreck diving, with sites ranging in depth from 10m to 80m. Some of the wrecks have been put there to form artificial reefs, whereas others went down due to bad weather or marine accidents. Due to the nature of the seabed in the Arabian Gulf (which is mostly sand), the wrecks are gathering spots for marine life such as large Barracuda, large Rays, Dolphins, Turtles, Sea snakes, Batfish and, of course, Arabian Angelfish. Most sites are limited to divers with experience beyond entry level, but we also offer Adventure dives and advanced training for Open Water Divers wishing to do their first wreck. Due to the offshore construction of various islands in the area the visibility has been greatly reduced and we have unfortunately been forced to momentarily cancel all dives off the Dubai Coast. As a result we have moved all our boats across to the East Coast so that we can concentrate on taking our customers to the best sites possible. With rumours of all sorts of weird and wonderful things from airplanes to tanks being sunk to form artificial reefs hopefully we'll be diving in Dubai again soon!
Snorkelling
Check out colourful corals, swim with Turtles and
maybe catch a glimpse of a harmless Reef Shark. The UAE’s East Coast & Musandam
offers great snorkelling and with daily
boat trips from Dibba and Al Aqah, there is no excuse to miss out.
All equipment is included and our friendly staff will be at hand with advice on where to find the most interesting stuff. For visitors staying in Dubai, we offer a daily bus transfer from Dubai to our dive centres on the East Coast and Musandam. Musandam trips are also a great day out for anyone who wants to take in some amazing scenery above the surface. Rugged mountains towering out of the water and with Fjord like inlets harbouring traditional Omani fishing villages. Bring your camera for this one. East Coast trips run every day, 3 trips per day. Musandam is generally reserved for divers but if we have five or more people interested in snorkelling we will make a plan.
