The facilities include a club house with a licensed bar and restaurant, a lounge area to relax after a hard day sailing and the opportunity to watch the sun go down on the terrace while enjoying the al fresco dinning. New addition of wireless internet within and around the main building. DOSC is the first and only sailing club in the United Arab Emirates with this amenity. The club is run daily by an enthusiastic staff employed to ensure that the club offers the best facilities possible. Headed up by 13 members strong committee - the club offers a range of sailing courses, racing events, themed nights and social events for its members. The private beach and Tentola bar offers a quiet area for members to relax and soak up the sun while enjoying some light refreshments. Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) opened its doors
in 1974 with no more than a cool box, a barrasti shade on the beach and a few
small sailing boats. It has grown and developed to host some of the best
sailing opportunities in the Gulf. Throughout its existence, this non-profit
making club has been run with the noble intention of promoting sailing to all
nationalities in Dubai and the UAE.
