I have been completing the next stage of my PADI Scuba diving level here in Dubai.
I have dived at a number of sites around the world and never thought Dubai would be a good place to do it but I was wrong.
With a large number of natural and artificial wrecks, loads of reefs and perfect weather I have had a great time. The visibility might be low but that just makes it more of an experience when unsuspected animals and formations appear in front of you.
My final dives will be on a trip to Musandam, which I have been told is superb.
If you want to dive give it a go here the water is hot and there is plenty of sea life to see.

Thanks for the info Crafty! I was thinking of diving here and was worried about the quality on offer. It sounds as though you've had a great time so I think I'll go ahead and try it!

What school did you go with? Were they any good? Are there many to choose from?

If there's anyone else out there who has tried diving in Dubai, I would appreciate some more info! I've been in Thailand before and had a great time!

I normally go with Scuba 2000 in Korfakhan - Guys are good and they know what they are doing. It good for people that want to go diving without having 500 people on the boat. Facilities are basic but thats part of its charm.
