Hi there

I love driving my sports car very fast out in the desert on the quiet roads.... does anyone have any information where I can actually do this properly as a sport...e.g. autodrome?? I know that there are rally rces up there but how do you go about about being involved??

Any info would be great!!!

Thanks Ajoy, I will check out those sights... and Ashikrahman good advice too! I was on Emirates road yesterday and it was so quiet going in Dubai direction....there aren't a lot of cameras there so it was good to get the foot down!!

Also, I took it to the VW garage the other day for a coolant top up and the mechanic in the workshop was from Germany..he took me out for a courtesy test drive and showed me how to drive it properly (it's a golf gti) .. I haven't used the Tiptronic properly before....very good service!!

It's a good idea to keep an eye on the fluids and oil in your car, expecially when driving it hard in this intense heat. And if you do make it to the track then you be needing regular servicing, including checking the brakes, which will wear considerably faster then just through road-use... so keep an eye on it!

The Autodrome circuit is an excellent drive and is much safer than going quick on the streets... and you can't get a speeding ticket either!
